It’s celebration Thursday - Wasatch staff are simply the best!! Ms Butz is our PE teacher that is so friendly and positive all the time. She plans fun learning activities to get our students moving and being active! Ms Boudreau is an amazing para that is willing to do anything she is asked to support our students. She is so flexible and willing to help, while always keep a smile on her face. Ms Godfrey is a teacher that is also our social media expert, maintaining our website and social media accounts. She also is the liaison to the PTA as they help our teachers and students have a wonderful year. Thank you amazing staff for all you do for each other and our students! #BetterTogether

Refugee awareness night is tonight at ViewMont High!!

Our character trait focus for the month is Achievement. All students read, "The Dot," and discussed what achievement looks like at school. Achievement is the trait that teachers will be looking for to nominate a student for our monthly Pizza With The Principal. We have a different trait each month for this recognition.

It's staff celebration day!! Wasatch has such amazing staff that care, love, and support each other and students so well. Mr Carr stepped up when a need was had for more supervision before school. He does a great job a building relationships with students and makes learning fun. Ms B spends a lot of her time helping supervise students too. She also is working on several ways to help her students in her classroom be, and feel, safe. Ms Kay does a great job supporting her students with specialized instruction. She also helps all other staff brainstorm interventions and is willing to drop anything to help anyone. Ms Clay is a tough cookie. She has grit is bounces back from hard situations to keep being there for her students. She keeps a smile on her face and is ready every day to help her students grow, despite challenges that may happen.

5th graders working on a Mystery Science activity. In the activity, Make It Rain, students created simple models of the ocean and sky to see how these two systems interact. Students compared how the temperature of the ocean and the temperature of the sky affect evaporation and condensation.

5th graders joined together to solve jigsaw puzzles. This fun SEL activity encourages students to work successfully as a group. It also teaches them to communicate and cooperate with one another.
