Fourth grade students are in for an exciting year with Ms. Hinojosa and Mr. Matt. This is the year when students begin taking on bigger challenges, thinking more deeply, and making connections across subjects.
In math, students will strengthen their multiplication and division skills while exploring fractions, geometry, angles, and problem-solving strategies. Science lessons will focus on topics such as ecosystems, energy, weather patterns, and Earth science, giving students opportunities to investigate how the world works through hands-on learning and inquiry.
Social studies will take students on a journey through geography, Utah history, and the events that helped shape the United States. Through reading, writing, discussions, and projects, students will learn to analyze information, support their ideas with evidence, and communicate their thinking clearly.
Fourth grade is often a year of tremendous growth as students become more independent learners, confident readers, and collaborative problem-solvers. Ms. Hinojosa and Mr. Matt are excited to help students build new skills, take on challenges, and make lasting memories throughout the school year.
