We’re excited to introduce the amazing prep-time teachers at Wasatch Elementary. These educators bring energy, creativity, and expertise to our school, offering students engaging learning experiences in a variety of subjects while also giving classroom teachers valuable time to plan and collaborate.
Ms. Emilee, our physical education teacher, helps students build essential movement skills through active and fun lessons. Whether they’re jumping, stretching, or learning to throw and catch, her classes promote coordination, confidence, and a love for staying active.
In the music room, Ms. Waite creates a joyful space where students sing traditional songs, explore rhythm and melody, and connect music to other areas of learning. Her lessons help students develop a deeper appreciation for music and its expressive power.
Ms. Janey leads the art program with a focus on creativity and reflection. Students brainstorm ideas, explore different approaches to artistic challenges, and create meaningful works that often celebrate cultural traditions. Her classroom is a place where imagination thrives and students learn to express themselves visually.
Ms. Brooke brings STEM to life by guiding students through hands-on exploration of technology, computing systems, and problem-solving. Her lessons help students understand how digital devices work, how data is used, and how algorithms shape the world around us. With a focus on keyboarding and critical thinking, she prepares students to be thoughtful and innovative digital citizens.
In the library, Ms. Taylor fosters a love of reading and research. She teaches students how to find and organize information, understand text features, and practice respectful library behavior. Her space is a welcoming hub for curiosity and lifelong learning.
Thanks to this dedicated team, students are not only learning something exciting and enriching during their prep time, but teachers also have the opportunity to plan and prepare high-quality instruction. These educators are an essential part of our school community, and we’re thrilled for families to get to know them.
