Our 3rd graders went on a field trip to the movies to deepen their learning about animals. While watching Born to Be Wild, students observed a variety of wildlife and learned about the different habitats of animals around the world. The experience helped connect their science lessons to real-world examples in an engaging and memorable way.

Each scene shows relaxed, individualized reading spots.
This collage features students reading in different classroom areas: two students sit at a table with laptops, a mouse, an apple, and school supplies nearby as they read books; another student sits at a table reviewing a book with a pencil and closed laptop beside them; one student sits against a wooden cabinet on the carpet with a blanket over their legs while reading; and another reads a graphic‑style book while sitting on the carpet with legs extended. The classroom includes wooden furniture, cabinets, and striped carpeting.
A collage of four classroom reading scenes shows students reading in creative spots around the room: one student sits at a desk holding an illustrated book and a small snack; another lies on the carpet wearing a green hoodie decorated with cars, shining a small flashlight onto a chapter book; a third reads under a desk illuminated by a clip‑on light; and two more sit beneath a desk, one eating a snack while holding a book and the other lying on the floor reading. The images capture various cozy reading positions on classroom carpet and under desks.
This collage depicts four cozy reading scenes: one student sits under a desk wearing a soft costume-style outfit and uses a flashlight to illuminate a book; two students sit cross‑legged on cushions beneath a desk while reading; another student lies sideways on the carpet with an open graphic novel; and two students read under a blanket fort made from a sheet draped over classroom furniture. Bookshelves, cushions, blankets, and pencils are visible throughout the scenes.
This collage shows multiple cozy classroom reading environments: a student wrapped in a plush blanket sits in a chair reading an illustrated book; three students lie on quilts on the carpet reading side by side in natural light; a group of students relaxes on cushions and blankets beside a classroom bookshelf with books and laptops; and two students lie on a blue blanket with a stuffed animal nearby while reading an illustrated book. The images highlight calm, comfortable reading spaces.
A collage of four images shows students participating in classroom reading activities: one student reads aloud to a small group seated in a circle on the carpet; another image shows a group wearing tall paper hats sitting on a colorful rug in front of a whiteboard holding papers; one student in patterned pajamas stands holding a stack of books near a classroom bookshelf; and another student sits cross‑legged on the carpet reading a book in front of labeled classroom bins.
